Yes. We regularly provide eye care services in care homes and residential facilities across the UK.

We work closely with care staff to ensure all residents are comfortable and that each examination is carried out safely and respectfully.

We always obtain informed consent before providing care. If a resident has reduced capacity to consent (for example, due to dementia), we act in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005, obtaining consent from a next of kin or legal representative.

We offer a reglazing service — fitting new lenses into your existing frames. However, this service is at the customer’s own risk, as there is always a small possibility of frame damage due to age, heat, or material condition. We take every precaution, but cannot accept responsibility for breakages during reglazing.

If you experience lens intolerance or any frame defect within the first 30 days of receiving your glasses, we offer a free replacement or refund. All refunds are processed promptly once the item is returned and assessed.

If your frame is found to be faulty within the first 30 days, you’re eligible for a refund or replacement. After 30 days, we’ll assess issues on a case-by-case basis to provide the most suitable solution.

We work in partnership with Clarity Ear Clinic to provide hearing care and hearing aid services. For more information, please visit Clarity Ear Clinic’s own website, where their dedicated team can assist you.

You don’t need to do anything special — simply make sure you have a comfortable, well-lit space for the test.

Please have your current glasses (if any) and a list of your medications available, as these help our optometrist provide the best possible care.

A typical eye examination takes around 30 to 45 minutes, depending on your needs. Extra time is taken to ensure you feel comfortable throughout the process.

We offer a wide range of frames and lenses, suitable for all budgets and prescriptions. Our optometrist brings a selection of frames to your appointment so you can choose comfortably from home.

If you are eligible for NHS-funded domiciliary sight tests, we can provide the service free of charge under the General Ophthalmic Services (GOS) scheme. We can confirm your eligibility when booking. Private eye exams are also available for those not covered.

Your personal and medical information is protected under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. We only collect information necessary for your care and never share it with anyone without consent, except where required by law or for medical referral.

All patient records are stored securely in line with NHS and College of Optometrists guidelines and are retained only for the legally required period
